Web Mail - Enables you to read your emails online anywhere around the globe.

How do I check my email?

1) By webmail. Each account comes with it's own web client. Which means you can access your email from ANYWHERE in the world! Your email can be accessed at: http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail

Be sure to remember your username@yourdomain.com and password as your webmail logins.

2) Set up your favorite POP3 E-Mail software to automatically retrieve your email.  Simply configure your email software for a POP3 Email Account with the following information below:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3): mail.yourdomain.xxx (replace .xxx with your extension)
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.xxx

UserName: you@yourdomain.xxx
Password: (your password)

How do I configure Outlook Express to retrieve my e-mail automatically?
Go into your Control Panel choose Mail Manager then Add/remove Accounts, click on "Outlook (Express) AutoConfig."

Are my email communications private?
No email system is completely secure, and there's always a possibility that email can be intercepted.

Is there some way I can ensure that my email communications do remain private?
By encrypting your email messages, only the recipient will be able to read the contents (encryption requires that the recipient use a "key" to unlock the contents of the message). One of the most popular encryption packages available is Pretty Good Privacy.

How can I find my friend's email address?
Search online, one of the most comprehensive resources is available at Yahoo!'s People Search

I've seen lots of unusual abbreviations and "smileys" in online correspondence. Is there a directory of their meanings?
Smileys, emoticons, and other abbreviations help add a little texture to the otherwise flat landscape of email communications. For a listing of some of the more popular smileys, view SMILEY.TXT and for a description of common abbreviations and acronyms, view ABB1.TXT.

Do you have any SPAM control?
Currently we offer SpamAssasin that comes a la carte with CPanel. SpamAssasin is defaulted as DISABLED.

Tips to reduce spam
• Do not open an e-mail unless you know who it is from. If you open it, this signals that your e-mail address is active and more spam will follow.
• Do not reply to or forward junk e-mail.
• Be careful about giving out your e-mail address.
Placing an email address on your website invites spam. If possible spell it out rather than using the @ symbol, for example: john [at] email dot com.
