The Asus laptop is about $50 more expensive, but still barely passes the $500 mark...and from what I've read, it has a built-in microphone?
I have an IBM ThinkPad at the moment, but the hinge broke and now the screen flickers, and as luck would have it, the warranty just expired. Plus, my current HD is at a low 60GB 
Which laptop would you get?
Get the Asus they are a better make and and it has beter speces than the Acer.
