Interesting gadgets in the kitchen
How good are the gadgets for the kitchen that are currently on the market?
10. Rubik's cube salt and pepper shakers with twistable tops. Each cube is of it's exact same size as it was in 1980 so the atention to detail is fantastic.
9. Self-cooking plate. However brilliant this may sound it is really only capable of cooking an egg or two and that’s only if you like it fried! The only problem is the cable running to the power supply which is something you don't want in your way when eating. Not for those who love their stylish Designer Kitchens.
8. The trebuchet toaster which quite literally catapults your toast onto your plate. Good for when you can't be bothered to get the toast out of the toaster. Although sounding brilliant there really isn’t a point as I’m sure crumpets and hot cross buns still get stuck and you still end up burning your fingers attempting to get them out
7. The juicer with a hand crank puts eco-friendly right into your home even at breakfast! Although there is no more button mashing there is an even more fun job of vigorously turning a handle to get your juice in the morning. Harder to use but more satisfying as you are saving small amounts on the electricity bill.
6. The Rotato express does all the boring vegetable peeling everyone hates for you. It's not made as easy as it sounds as the item has to go in the correct position or it will not peel.
5. Wake up to the power of the dark side with an imprint of Darth Vader on yout toast with this toaster. This for me is by far the best gadget. You can’t go wrong with a bit of Star Wars in the morning
4. A block that you put knives in stops germs from spreading. Can't really see it being any better than if you were to do the washing up properly.
3. The Digital recipe reader is a must have for all those people who really can’t be bothered to buy books. You can download hundreds of recipe's to the reader from the web so you won't have to ever buy another cook book!
2. The flatshare fridge is a brilliant idea and what it is a fridge with several doors leading to a different section of the fridge. No more will arguments exist as wach flatmate will have their own food section within the fridge. However isn’t that what shelves on the fridge are for?
1. Toastabags are the best gadget to own on the entire list. They save time, effort and are damn easy to use. Just pop a sandwich into the Toastabag, pop it in the toaster and you have a brilliant toastie without even having to get out the toastie machine. There is also no cleaning to do after you have used the Toastabags.
However is someone that has an interest in Bespoke Kitchens really going to bother with any of these items? They may want to but then again with the times how they are will people be wiling to fork out their hard earned cash. Most of these gadgets are a complete waste of money.
